Homemade Green Tea Pasta, Three Ways: Fettuccine, Spaghetti, and Gnocchi

I went a bit pasta-maker happy! This time, green tea pasta. Why not, right? Two things I absolutely adore in one beautiful forest green package.

This pasta was light, al dente, and provided quite the energy jolt for the afternoon! The subtle bitterness of green tea shown through as well. My favorite was the gnocchi.

The recipe for the fettuccine is the same as my butternut squash pasta recipe, except substitute the butternut squash puree with 4 tablespoons of green tea powder.

For the green tea spaghetti, simply change the setting on the pasta maker.

Finally, the gnocchi! Take the green tea dough and roll into small oblong balls, about an inch in length. Take a fork, and press down width-wise on each ball. Enjoy!
